Theory and approach that allows one to observe the dynamics and functioning of an enterprise through four main components: Social Systems, Mindset, Formal Organization, and Value Creation. ESS was explicitly developed for digital enterprises and is designed to help leaders, change agents, and coaches create new frameworks, methods, or processes that accelerate exponential change in the enterprise.


To achieve this, Enterprise Social Systems use techniques, organizational patterns, and concepts from psychology and neuroscience. It is part of the Enterprise Social Systems theory and framework, and it was initially published in Leading Exponential Change in 2018.
